The Economic and Environmental Benefits of Urban Trees
Urban Forestry Summit 2006
The Urban Forestry Summit 2006 included topics on trees as a vital part of a community's infrastructure, how trees can be protected during development projects, and how to manage a community's forest. A panel of experts described tree planting initiatives from the state to community level in Texas. Attendance at the Summit exceeded lasts year's event held at the Houston-Galveston Area Council. The Summit continues to foster new and enhanced urban forestry initiatives.

Presentations from the Summit will be posted here once they are available.
